Learn about the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve during a free coffee talk at the Konditorei Restaurant.

The Idaho Conservation League will provide an update on the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve surrounding Sun Valley at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Konditorei in Sun Valley Resort.

The area was designated the nation’s first Dark Sky Reserve in December 2017.

Attendees will also be offered an introduction to the fall sky, which features several prominent constellations. The lore behind the celestial patterns will be revealed. And there will be a telescope available to view deep sky objects, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies.
