Patty Parsons Tewson is always looking for voices to fill out her Christmas gifts to the community—“The Promise” and “The Messiah.”

But this year’s offer comes with an added incentive. You could be among the first to see how your voice sounds in the new Argyros Performing Arts Center when the Sun Valley Hallelujah Chorus performs there the week before Christmas.

Tewson is holding rehearsals beginning Halloween Night, of all nights, for the Christmas performances. The first rehearsal will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Presbyterian Church of the Big Wood choir room.

Anyone with la song in their heart is welcome to join in. No skeletons permitted, though—if you’ve seen this choir, you know they’re a swingin’ bunch full of life!

“It’s a spooky eve but we will have treats to ease the fright!” said choir member Sherry Thorson.

Questions? Call Patty Parsons Tewson at 208-721-0133 or Heather Johnston, president of the Sun Valley Hallelujah Chorus, at 208-720-9082.
